Feng Shui is the theme of my wedding and I am doing DIY for the centerpieces. I will be using sand, bamboo and plates that I painted gold to match our purple and gold wedding. I’ve been folding a lot of origami cranes and lilies (allergic to flowers) and want to incorporate them into the centerpieces some how… here is what I have so far. Any advice on tying it together would be greatly appreciated!
Oh and the glass holding the candle with the tan sand is just a stand in!

@vanitys: It looks nice so far! What do you think of adding 1 or 2 more origami pieces? I feel like it’s lacking just a little more color…

I love it!!! I particularly like the little Japanese rock garden you’re created: so unique! I love little details like that!
The only thing I could possibly think of to incorporate more origami: maybe attaching the paper lilies to the bamboo to create the feeling of flowers. Also I think the cranes at the bottom could use a mate (love birds?).
But, it might look totally stupid. I really like what you have here.

@BeachBride2014: I think your suggestions are great! Will definitely add a spouse for my lonely crane
