@StaceyA: oh Stacey, your appointment and your doctor sound AMAZING!!!! That is SO what I want to find, instead of my grumpy, inconsiderate OB/Gyn. I’m so glad that you didn’t get put off by the outside – I don’t think there are many doctors as lovely and thorough as yours sounds out there!!!! Yay 😀

@StaceyA: I’m so happy for you! He sounds amazing! I really feel like you’re on the right track, and how nice that you don’t have to wait a full year to work with a fertility specialist. I guess that’s the one nice thing about long cycles. Knowing there’s an issue gets you on the fast track. I will be following your story and can’t wait for your BFP!

@StaceyA: Sounds so amazing! Great find! Glad you got a good feeling! And I think you totally can’t judge a book by its cover as far as clinics go either…maybe they spent less on fancy plants and magazines so they can spend more on patients! 🙂

@hamikay: thanks hun 🙂 Is there any way you can switch your OB to someone who you get along with better? I am sorry you have a crappy relationship with yours. This journey is hard enough as it is… nevermind not having an OB that you get on with well.
@skipper2010: & @nyckitten: thanks so much ladies!
I had CD7 bloodwork and internal/abdominal ultrasounds this morning. Dr. said I have “lots of eggs for someone your age!” (29) so that was good. I go back Monday for more blood/ultrasounds and a sonohysterogram. Little nervous about that last one but hoping some bee’s can put my mind at ease (created another topic for that).
I can’t wait to keep you all posted as we progress. Never did i think it would be this involved (appointments every day/every other day) but am glad that they seem invested in getting this journey rolling!!
Happy Friday ladies! XO Ps. Anyone who has any quesitons or is thinking about going to an RE please feel free to ask here or PM me. It seemed really overwhelming for me at first so would love to help other bee’s who are wondering if it’s time for them to go the RE route too and what to expect etc.
