Any time his temperature is higher than normal, it can affect his sperm count. But just because it might affect his count doesn’t mean you can’t get pregnant. He’s not sterile. If he’s feeling up to it, I’d still give it a go.

Sperm production actually happens every 8-12 weeks. A current fever will not impact the sperm for this current fertile week, but in a few months, it might. The only potential problems of having a fever right now would be inability to finish or just feeling too sick to bd.

The real issue with fever during your fertile week is if YOU have one. Fever would actually harm the sperm inside your uterus – just like hot showers, saunas, etc after ovulation.

Even if it did affect his sperm count, it only takes one, so I say go for it!  Weirdly, I have had a similar fever to your husband all weekend, with barely any other cold/flu symptoms.  Strange!  Hope he feels better soon!

Definitely go for it of he’s up to it! DH had a few days of fever this past week when I O’d. He had trouble finishing, but was a total trooper and we BD’ed EOD. Not going to lie, it does make me worry about our chances this month, but who knows!

yes fever does effect sperm.  if he has healthy, normal counts, it really shouldn’t matter.

we discovered fever effects sperm when I went for my 2nd IUI.  DH’s numbers were crap.  2 weeks before, he had the flu.  had i known, i would have cancelled and not spent the money that round.
