My final fitting is the Thursday before my wedding (on a Saturday) so I will be arriving to my hometown Wednesday night to be here for it. But, I’m having a hard time figuring out what else I will need to do those last few days- I’m not DIYing anything else at this point, and I have a coordinator I will be dropping off centerpieces, table cards, guestbook, etc. to the week before the wedding- so I’m not responsible for setting anything up.
I plan to go with my bridesmaids to get our nails done on Friday before the rehearsal dinner, but that plus the fitting are literally the only things I can think of that I will need to get done. This sounds absurd- so help me out- what else will I need to do during that time?

It’s great that you’ve got everything done. I think it’s good not to schedule yourself too much, in case things do come up. And if they don’t then you’ll just be able to enjoy some time off with your friends and family! You’ve already got the manicure planned, I loved that. And I got a facial the day before the wedding. So relaxing 🙂

It sounds like you have it all under control. For information’s sake, I’ll share with you what I did, though. Maybe it’ll remind you of something you’ve forgotten.
The weekdays before (Tuesday-Thursday) I was finalizing our music (and Darling Husband took it to the venue), getting our slideshow back from the friend who made it, packing up all the DIY projects and labeling the totes.
I had to steam my dress the day before because we couldn’t figure it out in the days prior (stressful) and I got my nails done the Friday before the Rehearsal Dinner.
Then the rehearsal and rehearsal dinner, followed by a shower/pampering and packing up my bag for the next night. I also made sure I had everything in my Day-Of kit and all my jewelry, etc, cleaned and ready to go.
And then I took a sleep aid. Lol.

I suggest not getting a facial, just incase your skin has an adverse reaction, you dont want to be puffy or red the day of!
But I would scedule a day to relax! Just you and Fiance and a movie maybe.

I took my engagement ring to be cleaned and polished. My platinum ring was full of little scratches and had a patina on it fron the 18 months of wear, but I wanted it to look shiny brand new to match my wedding band. So I got that done.
Otherwise I didnt do much and I don’t think you should either. Enjoy your time in your hometown. Maybe schedule some meetups with friends or grab a coffee and relax.
