- Wedding: September 2011
And Future Mother-In-Law and the rest of the family are inadvertently helping him. Not only did they forget my birthday last week (FFIL tried to cover it by sending a card the next day–I know how long the mail takes) he has also seemed to “forget” the fact that I need addresses for the 30+ people he is insisting on inviting to our wedding and that I asked for them 6 months ago! Added to that, he is on our case about coming out to visit this weekend to do Christmas because he is taking off with his girlfriend to see her (grown) kids for the third year in a row. He asked us for the first time a week ago, and is for some reason thinking that he calls everyday, the plans that we have had for over a month might go away and his son won’t have to work Saturday morning.
Future Mother-In-Law is throwing a hiss about Christmas day because Fiance is spending Christmas Eve with me, in our house, and then Christmas morning at my parents with me before going out there and spending the rest of the weekend there. Unfortunately, I refuse to wake up by myself Christmas morning and our dog can not walk and feed herself.
As for the rest of the family…I’m not too sure why they are sending a Christmas card to our house just for Fiance (the For my Nephew doesn’t mean both of us) and if you are going to send a card addressed to us both, learn how to spell my last name. It’s been over a decade, I’m not changing it, and I’m not Cher or Madonna.
Thanks for the vent, Bees. Fiance is in the room so I can’t call my mom and dump this on her.
