I’ve seen this discussed many times, and I know there is no clearly defined answer (but I’m going to ask anyway). My two cousins (ages 7 and 9) are standing up in our wedding, and I’m not sure if they would be considered FGs or Jrs. They’re not going to be tossing flower petals. What do you think? Also my BMs are wearing Mori Lee turquoise, and I’m not sure what color the little ones should wear. I can’t seem to find any cute dresses that match the turquoise exactly. We’re using B&W damask accents. Thoughts? Thank you!

I think if they aren’t throwing flowers, they aren’t flower girls. I would say Jr. Bridesmaid, but make sure their dresses are age appropriate (of course! :). Can you do a lighter shade of turquoise?

Seems wise. I think I’d rather have them as Jrs. anyway, but I was afraid they would be too young. Hopefully I can find something cute for them to wear. Thank you!

I’m having my 10 year old niece in my wedding and she is going to be a Junior Bridesmaid. We’re going to go with a Junior Bridesmaid dress, which is def. more age appropriate than the one shouldered Bridesmaid gowns I picked out!
Plus, I think girls of that age (at least the 9 year old) would rather be a considered a Junior Bridesmaid. That’s just my opinion!!! GOOD LUCK!

i iwould say junior bridesmaids, as they are the cutsey age to throw flowers plus they will love the more mature role probably. my fiances little sister is 12 and she is my junior bridemaid as i dont think she is younge enough for flower girl but also not old enough nor my close friend to be a bridesmaid

You guys are the best – WB makes my life so much easier!

I was told that a 7 yr old can still be a flower girl, but any older than that is a jr. bridesmaid.

I would say Jr’s
I’m having one flower girl (age 6) and 2 jr Bridesmaid or Best Man (age 7) cause I can NOT have 3 flower girls(all nieces). And I really want the 7 years olds to be in the wedding. The 6 year old lives far away and I’m not close with her, but it would break her heart to not be in the wedding so….

You could do a white (or any other colour; I say white because that’s the colour of most Flower Girl dresses I’ve seen ) dress with a turquoise sash that matches your BMs. Or turquoise headbands!
