Drop it.  Let him get a ticket.  Sometimes men have to fail in order to realize he should have listened.

If you have a day off together, just say “lets go to the DMV” this morning.  But you make appointments in CA?  Bring it up to him when you to are home and the DMV is open and dial their number and hand him the phone.  Should it be like this? No.  But it is, so just get it done.  We can post on how he should already know this, but he’s not doing it. Some people just aren’t good at this stuff.

OR, you can just let him get pulled over.  It’s his car, he’ll get the ticket.

I’ve set up a to do list on our whiteboard for both of the things we need to.  Magically, stuff started getting done.  Recently, my husband hadn’t cashed a check in almost 2 months so finally one night I asked if he wanted to take a walk with me to deposit it and we did.

Those are my only solutions.  Otherwise, I would just let him get the ticket.

I once went two years without the new sticker – I purchased it and lost it and am also a procrastinator. And I never got a ticket! The trick is to just never get pulled over 😉

Fiance used to bug me about this stuff, I’m pretty sure that he would advie you to let it go as he learned to do. He’s an adult, you’re not his mom. If he gets a ticket, oh well, he’ll have to pay it. Doesn’t really affect you.

@misssydneyj: Then let him get the ticket!!  You aren’t his mom — he’s an adult and capable of doing things, but just choosing not to.  Stop reminding him, drop it, and when he does get a ticket… well it’s his fault!

Just let him get a ticket. You gave him all the opportunity to get this done and he isn’t…so now it’s on him.

@misssydneyj: Well in that case I’d be annoyed too since it IS affecting you.
