- Wedding: October 2019
We just started planning our wedding, and I have already picked out 5 bridesmaids in my party. However, FH doesn’t really have anyone to ask. He is an only child, and his only cousins are two younger girls still in high school. He also doesn’t really talk to his old friends, and hasn’t see anyone outside of my social circle for at least a couple years.
At first, he thought of asking his two female cousins to be “co-best men” (they are close) but also doesn’t mind standing up there alone. I guess the problem is he is feeling like he will miss out on some of the wedding experience, bachelor party, etc. either way. Do you think it would be too weird to have 2 female teenagers as the only people on his side? Or do you think he’s better to just do it alone, since they aren’t really old enough to help with planning, help him get ready on the day of, or attend a bachelor party or any stuff like that (I think he’s also thinking of doing that solo and just booking some time away in a hotel in the mountains)
Does anyone have any advice? Arranging pictures? How to include them with my girls if he does decide to? Or how do I not feel guilty for going all out with my girls?
