Oh, settle on a location – tie him up in the bed for the week 😉

you guys can have the best of both worlds in costa rica!  Do a few days of the adventure thing then few days of relaxation!  I know someone that did this in costa rica – they went to 2 different resorts.

@newname_99:  Don’t get a package. They are cheaper but if you want to find some middle ground plan your trip from the ground up and do one day of crazy activities and adventure and then one day of relaxing and sexy time then back to one day of crazy activities and adventure then back to relaxing and sexy time. You could always go to Florida and rent a place on the beach. Then you could relax on the beach but yet there are still probably plenty of activities you can do if you go to the righ area. Or Hawaii!

Yep, I would stay at an all-inclusive in Costa Rica and do 2 or 3 days of activities.

@newname_99:  Yeah that sounds very exhausting. Just try and get him to compromise certain days and certain things. That’s one of the keys to a succesful marriage! Compromise 🙂 Good luck!

We had this same problem- I want adventure, he wants relaxation. We settled on a resort in Costa Rica with a few day trips planned, from reading reviews online we can always add more when we get there.

Definitely Costa Rica!  We just got back from there.  We went to the Arenal area first (activities/adventure) and then went ot the coast for relaxation by the pool/beach.

If you consider the tour option, check with them to see what the age range would be like.  When we were at the coast a couple tour groups where and it was not a 20-40 years old group.

Costa Rica is great for a mixture of the two – stay at a resort, then book a few activities up spread over your time there. You can also let him know that you had a few ‘activities’ that you were hoping to do together that doesn’t even involve leaving the room, but will be active! Wink

i think costa rica is a great compromise.  i have friends who just returned from there.
