(Please excuse how disgusting my diamond looks in these pictures. It’s absolutely caked in sunscreen, lotion, etc. after a long weekend of fun!)
Here they are! I’m absolutely in love with them and I adore the idea of my band being a mini version of his…so adorable!
My biggest (and only) concern is that the rings can never be resized. The sales associate suggested getting them made in a size too big and then having beads put in, which I think I might do. Let me know what you think!
My requirements for my wedding band are that 1) it’s very comfortable and 2) it’s low maintanence. I want it to be something that I would never have to worry about no matter where I am and what I’m doing. Plus, I don’t want it to perfectly match my ering!
Here are a couple of others I have my eye on for myself. I do find the diamond band to be a bit too busy with my ering though. As for the twist band – my mother thinks it would be an impractical choice because the texture may irriate the skin between my fingers and wear away towards the inside.

Personally I don’t like the love bands with your ering but I do like the last combo you posted.

There’s too much going on for my taste with the e-ring + the LOVE ring and I agree w/sway that of those, I prefer the last one just because the wedding band’s the most simple. I’d go for an even simpler, plain band myself to add some contrast to all the e-ring bling and not add to the busy-ness.

TheGridMonster: Thanks for the opinions, guys!
GridMonster – I tried on a very simple plain band actually because that was what I had oringally wanted…but I didn’t really like it all that much. I felt it sort of disappeared under my e-ring. However I am considering looking for a band that’s a similar shape to the LOVE ring but without the engravings and a bit thinner.

I like the Love ring on its own but not with your e-ring. I don’t think the two compliment each other at all. What about getting a love bracelet for an anniversary or something instead?
Of the pix you posted, I like the last one the best too, but I think maybe a band that matches the stones on your e-ring might be a good match, or a plain band in the same thickness as your ER?

I think the love ring looks great with you E ring! I love the thickness of the band in contrast to your E ring! Go for it!!!

lilsweetie: Thanks for the advice! I do really like the love bracelet now that you mention it, so I may just go for it. In fact, if I don’t end up going for this as a wedding band I may actually go for the thicker version as a RHR somewhere down the line.
I’m actually very partial to the last one as well. I do really like the love ring a lot (but of course I’m totally fine with other bees saying they hate it haha, I wouldn’t have posted here asking for opinions otherwise) but I think I like the twist band just as much.
I’ve tried on thin bands that match my e-ring but I really hated them, tbh. Which sort of sucks because objectively I know that’s what would probably “suit” my ring best haha. Oh well, that’s what happens when you have weird taste!

beetruz13: Thanks! That’s how I feel at the moment, but I welcome other opinions because if I’m going to commit to a forever ring, I want to do it after hearing a bunch of people explaining why they love it and especially why they hate it!

I agree! They don’t quite compliment each other. Maybe a simple band instead as your ering is so blingy already!

futuremrsmierz: Love it. I suggested this to Fiance but he wasn’t enthusiastic. I can see why it may look busy with your e-ring. I recommend the white gold version. The matching metal presents a more unified look with your e-ring making it look less busy.

i like the look of the love ring and your ering together (especially the 2nd pic), but i would suggest getting the love ring in a different color (white gold or platinum). did you try them?

I actually really like it on your hand with your ering. It’s different but it’s not bad different! I’ve seen a lot a wedding rings here in NY and honestly anything goes today. The important aspect is if you love then I say go for it!
Congrats on your engagement & upcoming wedding!! 😊

mnanch: Thanks! I’m looking for something simple but not too plain since I want to love it on its own. This one is actually really plain by my standards hahaha. I’m going to keep looking for sure though!
guamgirl: Thank you! My Fiance loves it on me and so do I. I do see the other bees’ points when they say it may be too busy. I’m still debating it myself. As for the metal – I’m looking at YG because my ering is YG too, although it’s hard to see in pictures because of the diamonds.

mrssam: Thank you! So do I. I haven’t actually tried the other metals out, although I may do so later. I usually don’t like mixing metals which is why I went for YG to match my ering. Never hurts to try, though!
SabL22: Thank you very much! It’s definitely a bit of a funky pairing haha but I think it really has character. I’m definitely not sure though – I plan to try out many more styles before I choose. You’re right about “anything goes” in NY though haha. I’m glad I live here where you can be as weird as you want!
