So we’re roughly 70 days from the wedding and we’re really tight on money. Fiance got a job as a mail carrier about two months ago. He has no health benefits. He’s been having chest pains and tightness and numbing for about 3 weeks. Today it got so bad he started crying, we went to the hospital, and they checked his blood, x-rays etc and said he’s fine. They gave him Motrin. I’m so glad he’s fine but he’s really upset as he feels we don’t have the money to be paying hospital bills. I feel so bad cause i can’t make him understand that I don’t care if we spend all our money on the hospital bills, I’m just glad that he’s fine. I’m thinking that he’s anxious because he just moved 2 hours away from where he grew up and his family to be near me, and his new job is extremely stressful so that might be causing hia pain. I just needed to share, bees.

Sending prayers your way. Change = Stress = Physical Outlet. These things are common. We just moved two hours away to actually be closer to family. You would think this would be a good change, and all in all it is. However, change is change, which equals stress. Especially to men. Im glad you went to the ER and he checked out ok. That eliminates any real worries. Maybe do something for him that reminds him of “his home”. Or, just tell him flat out, that you know change is hard and can cause physical problems, but it will be ok. Sometimes they just need our reassurance that “everything will be ok”.

You should definitely get him some health insurance! Obamacare plans are quite affordable.

Thank God for Obamacare.
Make sure that if there is any recurrence of chest pains you get your Fiance checked out again.
