I think my fiance may be planning to buy me a puppy as my wedding gift from him. Not sure how he plans to pull this off but he is so crafty I wouldn’t be surprised. The only reason I think this is what I am getting is because he keeps dropping hints about how someone will have to babysit my present while we are on the honeymoon. Although it would not be the first time that he purposefully mislead me just so that I was more surprised. I would love a puppy but I all I really want on the day of our wedding is him.

As long as your prepared for puppy mommy hood and adopting ( sorry can’t help but plug rescuing over buying !! ) it can be a wonderful addition to your married life 🙂

@Eva Peron: I really hope he adopts one instead of buying it too. We have been talking about it for a while and I am so ready to be a puppy mommy. Although it would also be nice to just have fun being married when we get home from traveling.

That’s so exciting, my SO bought me my puppy (she’s 3 now, but still my puppy). She’s an amazing dog, but they are tons of work especially at such a young age. It also depends on their temperament on how easily they are training and how their personality is. If you are ready for the responsibility then I am all for it, but a puppy is a lot like a kid, don’t ark the responsibility lightly! YAY Puppy!!!
