We don’t live together right now, so there are some things (like changing the cat box less often than I would like) I can see potentially getting to me, but right now, it’s easy to ignore them.

Oh yea!  There is one thing.  He is VERY meticulous.  When we’re packing to go somewhere he’s very slow and tedious and makes sure he has EVERYTHING he couls possibly need.  I’m more of a ‘throw some clean underwear in the bag and go’ kinda gal so I’m forever waiting on him to get ready to go places.

Some of these are so funny!  My fiance also goes through about a million towels per week, but he has finally started using them more than once after I insisted.  FI’s other funny annoying habit is that he is a product over-user!  What do I mean by that? Well, instead of using a quarter-sized drop of shampoo or body wash, he uses like half a gallon.  Same goes for toothpaste, shaving cream, conditioner, you name it.  We are constantly going to CVS to restock, and our bills for bath and body supplies are ginormous!  I’ve tried to get him to use less, but he doesn’t really listen to me…

I consider myself lucky that Fiance doesn’t have any gross habits, but he does have some that really get my goat!

He takes forever to leave the apt. While I’m getting ready, he’ll jus tsit there and put off getting himself ready until I’m one foot out the door. I try to be proactive and get him thinking about getting ready, but nothing works. And to make matters worse he takes longer than me!! **This is only on the weekend, during the week he gets himself ready to leave for work on time and even cleans the kitchen and packs our lunches so I can’t really complain too much I guess.

I can’t think of any others at the moment, he is pretty perfect otherwise!!

@bloodgo1 I know it is so annoying I keep telling him when I get pregnant he is going to have to be better about it!

If my Fiance went through three new towels every day, I would restock them without even washing, and secretly keep track of which ones are clean for me to use.  Innocent

My Fiance is guilty of dumping everything by my front door when he visits.  Would it kill him to set his shoes down 15 inches to the side of where he currently sets them?  I suppose I have the same problem, except that I dump everything on the dining room table (which is right by the front door) and I never have it cleaned off in time for dinner so we always eat on the couch.

@mmuncha.. That sock thing is freaking hilarious! Changing them every few hours and putting his shoes back on! I can just imagine the face I would be making if my Fiance did that in front of me. There is not a chance I could keep quiet while watching him do that!

I found another one with my Fiance.. looks like the annoying things are overriding the non-annoying things these days, but really, he is so annoying lately!!! Maybe it’s cause we are getting married, and I’m looking at him, making sure, I’m sure!!

The other day he made a yogurt juice, mixed it in the glass, added ice and then decided to “drink” it with the  extra mini-tea spoon. So not only did it take him 15 minutes to “drink” it, but I got to enjoy the cound of the sppon hitting the ice cube and the glass! After the FOURTH glass I finally burst out and asked why he just couldn’t drink it normally, and is he 2 years old!!!! He said, he Loveeees drinking it that way, and came and sat right  next to me while I tried to organize something. I was on fire. Who drinks their juice with a spoon! In my ear! Four glasses!! Grr… Sorry. Haha, I have excellent hearing and any noises, that I deem as unnecessary, drive me up the wall!

Oh also, so funny, he has to “blow” the “dust or dirt” off his socks, while on his feet, before he can put his shoes on. It is so strange. Every morning I hear him, blowing the invisible stuff off of his freshly put on sock. I don’t know whether to laugh or cry about these things anymore!!

I sincerely feel guilty at being one of those people who is literally annoyed at the sound of her man’s chewing. I try not to be. But the sound of it gets to me. It’s more of a passionate chomp, like he is attacking his food inside his mouth! Sorry.

Also–he is great about helping with things like the kitchen, but when he empties the dishwasher, if the dishes/cups/glasses are still wet or damp, he just leaves them out on the counter “to dry,” indefinitely! I’M always the one going an hour later to finish the job and put the dang things away.

And he’s such a packrat! He keeps. Every. Receipt. All over the countertops. Any and every size and purpose. Every 6 months he goes through all of it and tosses half of them away. But if *I* try to throw any of them away before that, he acts like I’m discarding hundred-dollar bills!

I’m certain i do many irksome things, too.

Miss Chocolate, that is too funny about your Fiance blowing his nose in the shower!  Mine does that too.  Just tonight he was taking a shower while I was in the living room (several rooms away from the bathroom) on the phone with my mom.  My Fiance proceeds to blow his nose and my mom is like “what is that?  Sounds like a blow horn”.  I mean, really, that loud!  How is there anything in there to blow out?!

The last few months he’s gotten to the point where I have to nag him to brush his teeth or he won’t do it. It gets so gross! He also throws his socks all over the living room when he gets home and is allergic to leaving the cabinet doors open as well. Also, when he’s not thinking about it, he will pick the hairs off his beard and eat them…ewwwwww. lol.

He always grabs whatever towel is closest, whether or not it’s his. I learned very quickly to keep my towels as far away from the shower as possible, otherwise I get out of the shower and find out they are already wet.

haha, I was just getting irritated with DH today.

He farts. Not much to say about that… lol

He also sneezes REALLY loud. Once we were in Central Park walking over a bridge while another man walking his Chihuahua was about to walk under it. DH sneezed and both the dog AND the man jumped because it’s just so loud lol

Right now his computer is broken so he usually uses my laptop, but even before that, he’ll be on his computer or my laptop and he’ll get off to go shower (before he showers he plans what he is going to wear to work the next day). Except he always forgets to check the weather and always makes me do it for him even though he had just spent the last hour or so online. seriously? he can’t take a break from wrestling clips and message boards to check the weather and uses “my time” instead? It gets annoying, especially when I’m doing something and he wants me to stop to check the weather right then so he can shower. And giving him the high temp and low temp isn’t good enough. I usually have to check the hour by hour forecast for him, which isn’t even accurate anyway. bleh.

My Fiance does not have the ability to close any cabinet, door, drawer, or microwave after he opens it.  Needless to say, I am thankful that the fridge door closes itself.  I asked him how we could go about this problem and he said to continue what I was doing (going behind him and slamming every door shut) and that eventually he might start to learn.  I have seen improvement about 5% of the time in 5 months of living together.  I have a long road ahead of me…haha.

Also, for some reason, he seems to unravel half of the roll of toilet paper to get what he needs.  But, he doesn’t tear it off at the top so there is always about 10 squares of toilet paper dangling to the ground.  Drives. Me. Insane.  He doesn’t get what the big deal is but hello?! Like I am really going to use toilet paper that was sitting on the ground.  Maybe that is my germophob side coming out of me but I can’t help it.

I wish I could see his list of what habits of mine that drive him crazy.  Well, I know one.  I hate doing laundry so our clothes don’t normally make it out of the dryer in a timely manner.
