banjoream: So I love, love your skirt (and I love the crop top idea too). There are some great ones on Etsy. Try the shop AngloCouture on Etsy, she’s got some awesome lace crop tops. Also, love the second one Clairebbbear posted.
Here’s one she has
ETA: Also like this one…there are tons to choose from on Etsy and under $200.00!!

I love, love the skirt! And I think the crop top could be really cute IF the color matched better. But the difference is colors just isn’t working at all. And I also think that particular top looks a lot like a sports bra. So I would keep looking and maybe if you find one you really like you could dye it to match the skirt?

I looove that skirt! SO actually showed me a picture of the whole Dori outfit and said it was cute and seemed like something I would pick.
For me, the first lace top doesn’t work. Not because of the skin showing (I don’t think a few inches of tummy is a big deal at all), but because the styles don’t feel like they go together. The skirt has this lovely light, whimsical style and the style of the lace and cut of the top doesn’t really compliment it. However, this is total nitpickyness–you still look amazing and I bet most people in normal context would not even question the pairing. I actually really like the fit of the dress you had paired with it, but agree that the print makes it look a bit casual/not bridal. I think if you could find it (or somthing similar) in a white or cream color that you would have a perfect match.

Two words: Martina Liana. She has 1 piece bridal body suits, and bridal bustiers that would look beautiful with that skirt. Check them out! https://www.essensedesigns.com/martina-liana/wedding-dresses/?fwp_collections=martina-liana-separates

I LOVE your skirt. I’m so glad you bought that when you saw/fell in love with it. So many good suggestions already here! Here’s another idea (if it hasn’t already been posted):

banjoream: I’m with Fiance. I think the crop top looks great! Some people can pull off this look but most of us can’t. You can.
My only reservation is the colour. I wonder if it could be dyed a soft grey to match your skirt or a soft pink. The white just seems very stark. You could maybe minimiseit’s starkness by opting for very white flowers in your bouquet.
Keep us posted on how it all comes together.
I thinkif you could dye it a soft pink and then have matching soft pink flowers with grey ribbons trailing from your bouquet it would look great.

I’m also with your Fiance, I really like the skirt with the crop top. It looks original – much more interesting and memorable than a classic wedding dress. You also have the figure to pull it off. I think you look like a contemporary princess with that crop top and skirt.

I can’t believe I didn’t post this with my tops suggestions:
Also, don’t listen to the naysayers who want you to think a crop top is trashy or not bridal. Sure, you wouldn’t wear one in a cathedral but that’s not where you’re getting married. You rock the crop top look so why the hell not?

Hi bee! I’d be interested in potentially buying this skirt from you if you are thinking of selling! Hope your wedding is/was wonderful!
