I skunked Darling Husband when I played him in cribbage for the first time. No one has ever beat him that badly and he wasn’t even going easy on me. He’s a bit competitive so didn’t appreciate it so much. It did help a little that he beat me in Dutch Blitz right afterwards (except that time I wasn’t really trying)

I wouldn’t know! lol My fiance keeps trying to teach me how to play chess and I just don’t get it! So I guess you could say he mostly wins. ::pouts::

I LOLed so hard at this. My Fiance is the same way!

I started playing Scrabble on-line. So then I finally convinced him to play…I kicked his butt! (Just like I did YEARS ago…we haven’t played since then.)

Now we still play, but sometimes it’ll take him a while to pick a word because he tries so hard to pick the one that’ll give him the most points.

What a NERD!

I read your post allowed to him. He tried to hide his smile/laugh. lol

P.S. Never again is something he says as well. Hilarious!

Haha, so funny! I actually am more of a sore loser than he is, mainly because I generally kick his butt at whatever games we play, and I hate those few times I don’t win.

My Fiance is like that with any and every video game. I also like games and so I’m pretty good at them. I whooped up on him in every game we have on our Wii. He’s a sore loser, but he’s got a great sense of humor about it. So he gets sad but not sulky. We found a better way to play together without the winner/loser designation: the exercise games on Wii Fit Plus set to multi-player.

@vmblai1019: Awww, your poor FI! Mr. Hot Tea plays Yahtzee on his iPhone in all his spare time not beating me at words with friends 🙂

My Fiance hates it when I beat him at games I never played before. Once there was this video game of table board games on crack (Xbox at a firends) and I beat him all but one time. In the last round of the last game that I beat him I did something I still dont know how I did it, and said “you can do that!!” POed him off.He is a big stratagist, and all his planning is fumbled by the me not playing by any stratagy, just goofing off.

But one time we played rummie together for the first time, and I whooped him so bad. I played it off like I had never played and was begginers luck until my mom ratted me out that we used to have marathon rummie games on family vacas and holidays.. lol Thats a game he will not play me again…

We had to take a break for awhile from playing Scrabble together.  I’ve finally learned to be a little less gloating, so he’ll play with me again 🙂

We used to play Sea Battle on Skype and I won literally 10 days in a row, multiple times each day! I would be so far behind, and all of a sudden come back and win. It’s a game of luck (and some strategy) so it pisses him off so bad that I won that much. He stopped playing for a few days because he was honestly mad… then played again, finally won, and refuses to play it ever again! Wow!!!

He also gets mad about Spider Solitaire and Minesweeper. Those are two games that I dominate in and play by myself for fun. Well he doesn’t understand the games at all, much less wins, and he hates them!

We are not like this with board games, but he has not played Mario for Wii in over a year with me because he felt as though I was such a bad player, I was holding him back. Guess I should start practicing in case we get more snow storms this year…I at least used to have fun!
