I gave my husband an engraved compass that said “Our adventure is just beginning” The compass looked like a brass pocket watch, but when you open it up it is a compass instead of a watch.  He loves to camp and hike–and while not very practical or likely to actually get used, he LOVED the sentimentality of it.

I”m still racking my brain, but yes, I want to give him something. I was going to rent him a lambo because I think if I should get to be Queen for a day he shouldbe a King, but he’llb e drinking so that didn’t make a lot of sense, lol.

I might get his name or our wedding date tattooed secretly and then unvale it but i’m not sure if that’s a gift for me or him or what. He loves tattoos and I Have none and he’s told me he’d like his name on me as he has mine on him.

Im commenting to follow! I need ideas.

I’m not. While I have no problem with the idea, there’s going to be quite enough to celebrate without adding gifts for each other into the mix! 🙂

futuremrsyamo:  I love that I might still it. I have been racking my brain for something. That is why I love these forums. I feel like a suprise is in order. its a big step and a little gift can really help the nerves.

I’m giving him a keychain. We both wanted to keep it simple (at least I’m hoping he stays up to that and not go overboard). I got two keychains on esty that say “You are the Spock to my Kirk” and “You are the Kirk to my Spock”. He is a HUGE star trek fan, so I thought it would be fun and put a smile on his face.

Kimbalina81:  My husband and I exchanged gifts on our honeymoon – he bought me a beautiful new camera with an underwater housing and I bought him a dive computer.  We are avid scuba and free divers, so we went with gifts that enhance both of out hobbies (plus we got to use them right away on our honeymoon!)

My Fiance loves video games so I asked him what he wanted as a wedding present. At first he said that I’m the best gift he could ever ask for… but then he thought about it some more and came up with the new Super Mario maker game and some other video game I forget the name of. I had him preorder them and then just gave him the cash for it. Romantic right?

I gave my husband a two person tent haha.  He is really big into backpacking and wanted one anyway, so I gave it to him to symbolize our future adventures together.

I gave Darling Husband a pocket watch engraved “All my love for all my life”. He loved it!

I gave him a boudoir album. I booked a room at a boutique hotel and my bff took the photos for me. It’s the best I’ve ever looked so I wanted to take advantage! I also had my hair and make-up trial that day to make the most of it.

I am giving him some cologne. I also got him a shirt that says game over and its a little graphic of a happy bride and a groom with a sad face. Also, a shirt that he used to have but it got wrecked and he could not find the same one and I found it for him. Then a really nice handwritten card

TaraMay_:  If my Fiance wasn’t so protective I’d love to do this! He’d be too uncomfortable knowing someone else took sexy photos of me, though. He still seems to think I was the PYT when we first met, haha.

I bought my Fiance a watch that he has ALWAYS dreamed of having but would never buy himself because it was so expensive. I am setting it to the time of our ceremony, and attaching a little note to it that says “Wear this so you won’t be late!” lol

I also have a black, leather bound book, and I wrote him a short message / letter for every month we were engaged.
