…which was kind of the palatte I was “designing” my wedding around! omg. So anyway, what do you all think of these bridesmaid dresses? I am having four girls. I’d either have them mismatched or all the same or two and two…
I love blue and he loves orange, and I like pink/fuschia. So…thoughts? I cannot have all four girls wear the orange (their skin tones just wouldn’t work with it), and I have one super pale friend who I wouldn’t want in a dark colored dress.

My choice would be the Orange and Navy, these two dresses go nicely together too in style.

@Angkinah: I don’t think I can do those two colors only, though, because of the skin tones of my bridesmaids. One is super white, one is white with tattoos, one is olive skin-toned, and one is darker (Mexican/Chinese). I know skin color doesn’t matter THAT much but I want everyone to look good and feel like they look good. My super pale friend was in a wedding where she had to wear bright yellow…boy was that a mistake!
So I think my two darkest friends (god that sounds awful) would have to wear the orange and navy…but could paley mcpalerson and tattoo wear them?
lol this post is ridiculous

I think having a variety of jewel tones for the bridesmaids would look good together. I think the fuschia, orange, and blue would all look good together… maybe adding a purple for the fourth color. I love the idea of all mismatched!

What about combining the orange and fushcia, similar to this inspiration board:
Just check with your Fiance before he tells you he hates pink/fuschia, too! 🙂

Ug, I have no freaking clue why that link goes to photo #2 – it even says orange/fuschia in the link! Anyway, click back one photo for the right photo… 😉

I like all these dresses 🙂 I’m a mcpaleperson and navy is one of my favorite colors to wear, the only one that might be iffy for pale people is orange but it depends how pinkish they are

I’m partial to jewel tones over pastels, and I am in love with all of the above dresses! I honestly don’t think you can go wrong, but I would peronally do the lighter blue with the fuschia (or even maybe orange). Beautiful!

I’m super pale as well and almost every dress in my closet is navy or a dark blue! I find it to be a very safe color for skin tones. Because of my skin I probably would look horrible in the fushia and orange dresses. I love that you are taking this into consideration. I see so many girls on here who need the beige dresses or yellow scheme (and although they look great), I hope that none of their girls have my skin!
also I had these pop up on my pintrest board today! Not sure if this is what you are thinking, but thought I’d post them anyways. (also the dresses are mexican, I was just looking at the colors!)

I love the turquoise and fushia… they’re stunning 🙂

I LOVE the fuschia and teal. So pretty together.

I would do two and two.
-Navy and fuschia
-Orange and teal
-Fushcia and teal
🙂 Since you’re having a summer wedding, I think you can get away with mixing the brighter colors. Just tie them all in into your bouquets..or maybe do all white bouquets?

Good to know that pale people can wear darker colors! I am pretty pale but I have more color than my one friend…she is like translucent. Ha. Although she plays rugby, too, so she might have some color on her face/arms…just not her legs.
Is it an imposition to ask my bridesmaids to get some tanner on their legs?

I’m super, super pale and I look much better in dark/bright colors than pale/pastel colors! Those are the ones that wash me out! 🙂
