Me! I love my Fiance to the moon and back, but I also love not having the NBA playoffs on TV 24/7, painting my nails in the living room without anyone complaining about the smell, and Pinteresting/online shopping while drinking wine for hours on end without anyone trying to talk to me.

Lmao, I was about to pull a giant wtf on you.

I soooo look forward to my alone time now and again! I get to catch up on/binge-watch all MY shows and get to sleep early just so that I can enjoy taking over the entire bed myself! Enjoy the night with the pups 🙂

LMAO!  I seriously was rolling my eyes reading the title, and then felt bad for judging…

I started laughing when I read your post.

Darling Husband doesn’t travel much, but he will have meetings with his business partners in the evenings and will get home late… I like those nights because I get to partake in my SSB (secret single bahavior- Sex and the City reference anyone?), watch whatever I want, and cuddle with the dogs while falling asleep whenever I want without the tv still on!

ETA Oh and I get to eat my dessert without having to share it!

lol I was about to say something so judgey but glad I got played. Haha. When my fiancé is out of town, I take up the WHOLE BED, all of it spread eagle across it. I drink wine, eat ice cream and watch the trashiest of trashy reality TV shows. I love him but man, he ruins my fun always hating on my reality TV shows. Let me live!

About a month ago Darling Husband went on a boy’s camping trip for a weekend.Yes, I was bummed I wasnt going camping BUT MAN I enjoyed my home alone time. I painted my nails in bed, ate watermelon for dinner, and watched X Files all night. I’m obviously such a party animal!

kimber085:  I was so not prepared for your post and actually LOL’d when I read it. More people need your sense of humor, lady!

My husband actually works graveyards on Friday nights right now, so I usually watch the girliest shows and movies possibly while eating something he normally would complain about me making, with each of my pups next to me on the couch. CAN’T WAIT. I like me some alone time to do these types of things, I’m pretty independent and obviously I spend as much time as I can with my husband but these moments are ones I will cherish. Especially more so right now, our first child is due to arrive mid-September!

My FH is in 3 bands that practice regularly and we both have pretty decent social lives, so we spend at least a few nights apart each week. It’s great! I make a gigantic smoothie for dessert, put on Netflix, play with the dog, get stuff done… and give him a big hug when he comes back.

kimber085:  +100000.  I like eating ramen and popcorn for dinner when Darling Husband isn’t around and giving canine child everything that his little heart desires and putting all my magazines and computer on DH’s side of the bed, so I can read/use them while I’m in bed and sleeping diagonally.  I just asked Darling Husband when’s the next time he’s going on a business trip.

Umm yes, definitely.  A couple years ago my Darling Husband (then FI) went to his friend’s place for the weekend so four of them could bingle-play a new videogame.  Borderlands Weekend.  I still think longlingly of Borderlands Weekend…I watched Ugly Betty and internet shopped.

Now that we have kids we split parties when we can’t get a babysitter, so tonight Darling Husband is going to a party and I’m home with sleeping kids for the night.  Somewhere along the line it lost its appeal…I wanna go to the party 🙁 haha sigh.
