greywacke :  YES! We had kids and parents and Oma. It was integral to figure out walking and standing order (and quashed my niece’s rehearsal request to walk with her Dad who was officiating). We ran through it twice during rehearsal and it really made the next day so easy.

Our DOC was great and covered things you don’t think about – like which direction to turn when handing off bouquet / grabbing rings. Oh and if you drop the ring, only the officiant goes for it so no one bumps heads. But most importantly, DH and I weren’t sleeping the last several nights before the wedding. I was under the weather, but he acknowledged he was nervous (not to marry me – we’d made it legal the month before, but just all those people staring at us). Being prepared for the actual day was a huge help.
