@Mountain Girl: Hmmmm…definitely odd behavior. Do you think he took a picture of himself on his cell phone and sent to his computer in order to send to someone else?

@melisslp: That was my first thought as well.

Was the dick pic recent?

Regardless, my advice would be to have a frank conversation. Just ask! It’s that simple. Don’t waste your energy here speculating or letting people convince you there’s more to it than there is.

And apologize for snooping.

@Mountain Girl:

. Listen to gut feelings, its one of our gifts. It may not be as bad as what u think but something is definetly odd. Good luck.

Then no. I just mean . . . Don’t go in confrontational like LOOK WHAT I FOUND WHAT IS THIS?!?!?!? Tell him you were feeling icky so you looked and just have a few questions to put your mind at ease. For the record, once I took a pic of my tits to see if a freckle was changing. Like, obvi I can’t see the pic and I don’t know if he was checking a freckle or trying to look like a porn star but you love him, so ask before assuming the worst.

When you have a bad feeling about something, always go with your instinct. Be open, confront him about it and do it in a way that totally acknowledges you snooped. It may not have been your finest moment, but I wish I had done it before I got married the first time. I would have saved myself 3 years and a crappy divorce. Don’t worry–I got the dog.

And you always apologize for snooping—always. It doesn’t matter what you find, it’s still an invasion of privacy. Even if they are being sneaky and dishonest (not saying he was–just saying even if it’s the WORST thing you can imagine.)

@Mountain Girl: I would definitely confront him.  Being secretive harms relationships.
