I love the setting you have now as well. Halos are pretty but your cut is so interesting that it seems to take the focus away from it in some say. I like rings that highlight the beauty of the center stone and I think your current mounting does that.

Thank you bees,
I love hearing all your opinions and you have reallly helped.
We are leaning more towards keeping the ring as it is and really appreciating the sparkly beauty.
I love how step cuts or asschers give out bright flashes of light as opposed to tiny sparkles. My fiance comments constanly on how it is a beautiful ring.
Tiffany is having an event with nibblies, cocktails and a talk on diamonds where you try on rings. My fiance and I want to go to enjoy the talk as we have become really interested in diamonds since getting engaged.
Lets just hope we dont catch Tiffany Euphoria. 😉 Will keep you updated.

Keep the one you have now, it’s elegant and not over the top. The halo with the ascher cut makes it look less elegant and too crowded with too much going on

Don’t add the halo, you loose your beautiful acsher in the middle of it. It syands out so much on the dainty pave band, it almost glows 🙂

I think the current ring is beautiful. 🙂

My ring has a halo, so obviously I love halos, but the cut of your stone is more beautiful without a halo. I would love the one you’re with:)

I love the way you have it now, the pave lends the ring some glamour and femininity but allows the Asscher to stand out. I wouldn’t add a halo to that.

violet182: you should make a poll! I vote for the one you have now! BEAUTIFUL 🙂

I love halos but that asscher is gorgeous and I think the halo will take away from it..I love the pave band though!!

It is so gorgeous without the halo. I agree that it will take away from the cut of the asscher.

I really like the one you have now, I am personally not a fan of the halo design, I think that it takes away from the main focus of the center stone.

I think it looks good at the current setting. Halo will take away from the side.
IF I have to change or choose a different setting, I will go with pave setting…
