so I’m getting married next month (hallelujah!). My fiancé and are both both virgins and so our only sexual experience is kissing (and nothing too heavy). Thankfully, we are both open with each other about our excitement to be sexual with each other once married.
So, that’s brings me to the wedding gift! My fiancé and I don’t have any major expectations for wedding gifts, nothing crazy expensive, since we’re both students. What I wanted to do though is based off an idea I saw on Pinterest that was “I love you with all my senses”
For “sight” I got a sexy lingerie set that I feel really confident in
For “scent” I bought him a cologne he loves
For “touch” I bought some massage candles
For “hearing” a small Bluetooth speaker we can bring on the honeymoon
and “taste” some fancy chocolate he likes and also flavored lube haha
Then I was going to package and wrap it all fancy!
is this ok!? I don’t want to disappoint him at all, or freak him out since we’re both sexually inexperienced..but we’re also both really looking forward to connecting together intimately and our honeymoon!
thanks so much!

Of course it’s ok! He’s the man you’re about to marry! Give him the thoughtful gifts you chose from the heart.

Great idea! The lube will be handy to make sure everything is lubricated enough.

alwaysinmountains1 : I think this is great! I’d get rid of the lube though personally, you can always pack some in case you need it, but i personally think they all taste gross and feel weird. Everything else is more sensual and the flavoured lube seems to cheapen it a little.

alwaysinmountains1 : Super cute idea!
WRT the flavored lube; you might consider swapping out for Coconut oil. It works really well as lube and since it’s actual food, it doesn’t have the weird plasticy taste. It feels really nice as massage oil too, so it’s a bit more versatile.
You can get it in liquid form in most health food sections or high-end grocery stores.
In all though, I think it’s a great way to start things off playfully!

I second the coconut oil. It works great! And won’t give you a nasty yeast infection like some of the edible lube with sugar in it. I recommend the coconut oil from Trader Joes. A little goes a long way and the taste is subtle.

I think this is a great idea and it is not like you have to use everything all at once! Congratulations

I agree with juacvdo : you might want to choose a gentler lube with less additives, especially since you’re sexually inexperienced. Yeast infections and irritation are common even between new partners let alone for first timers – your body isn’t used to having foreign things inside it and it’s a delicate area. I would wait until after the honeymoon to experiment with things like that so that you don’t wind up in pain on your honeymoon!
Definitely get some lube, but try to avoid ones that have: alcohols, stimulants, warming agents, spermicides, flavourings, scents.
Otherwise looks great!!!
