@engaged711:  not at all – we received them in mid-february, and haven’t had any problems with them since then – not that long, but we’ve used them with sharp knives and things and have had no problem

we registered for fiestaware last night. My mom owns all of the colors. We only picked the cobalt color. We registered for everything from the pitcher to the pasta bowl and cheese shaker. The registry specialist questioned our one color. But I love that dark blue color!

Also wanted to add – if anyone lives near Wheeling, WV, you can go to the Fiesta outlet!  They have a showroom with department store-quality items that are only slightly discounted, and a huge wharehouse of “seconds” that you can sort through that are dirt cheap.  In the wharehouse they have some really cool items (covered casseroles, vases, neat bowls and platters) that I have never seen anywhere else.

I love Fiestaware! I have some plate/bowl things that my mom gave me that she had gotten from Friendly’s years ago that are great for pasta dinners. I registered for a few black plates to go with the stoneware plates I already had and then added things in cobalt, clover, scartlett and sunflower. I can’t wait to see all together!!

My kitchen/dining room is shades of yellow with maple colored wood so it’ll look awesome in there.

If I was starting from stratch, I would pick 1 color to do all your dinnerware sets in and then add colors in here and there until you see what you like and don’t.

I love fiesta!! We registered for turquoise, cobalt, shamrock, and lemongrass!!! I didn’t register for the dishes because they cost more than we wanted.  So, we registered for teal and avocado colored dishes at target.  Then we registered for a Fiesta gravy boat, butter dish, salt and pepper, pitcher, etc…. In those diff. colors! My Fiance said we’ll save up for the dishes throughout our marriage 🙂

This is odd, but I actually registered for all White fiesta!  I couldn’t decide on colors, so we wanted to stick with white.  And quite honestly, the fiesta dinnerware seemed to be most sturdy dishes on the market.  I did register for some colored serving pieces though 🙂

If you are having trouble with the price of fiestaware Macy’s has it on sale every time there is a big sale for anywhere from 25.00-30 instead of the regular $50!
