Woah my mind is spinning I can’t imagine how yours is feeling. Take some time for yourself and talk to those closest to you and get some therapy

bramblebush :  OK, I am unfortunately one of the more insecure people on this earth but even I think having a cry over something from fourteen years a go is a bit much.

i don’t like any reminders that my Darling Husband has a past, but I don’t go around seeking them out then moping. He is being unreasonable.

Edit: just read the update and OP’s husband can fuck off with this gaslighting bullshit.

bramblebush :  so sorry to hear this, bee. You must be in shock. It’s good that you stood up for yourself and refused to let him gaslight you. you deserve so much better than what he’s been doing.

Good for you! Being posessive and controlling is NEVER deep love. It’s a sign of a lack of respect, seeing you as a THING that he owns, and usually insecurity based on their own bad behaviour and the fear that you’ll behave the same way. Kick him out, keep him out, and don’t look back. Why would your sister make up a lie to tell your friend, but not you. The people that had those stories had less than nothing to gain by telling them, particularly to the people that they told them to.
