Okay so the harassment is completely uncalled for and I totally get why you are doing what your doing.

My only thought is why you don’t need to pay them back? Was a clause about firing in the contract? For instance, we have local hospitals that will pay for your coursework if you agree to work for them for X amount of time. But if you quit or get fired, the money they invested in you becomes your responsibility. I know he got fired but it doesn’t negate the money they invested in your Fiance. Was any of this stuff in the contract was it all a verbal agreement?

I also may have misread something, so sorry in advance if I got the situation confused!

@misskarianne:  I dunno, it’s a tough call. She doesn’t sound stable so I am not sure of the consequences of blocking her.  I guess you can look at it like this.  She’s going to react how she’s going to react since you’re not going to respond.  However, if you unblock her you will then have better ammo to send her ass to jail when she flips out….which is likely to do.

@misskarianne I think a judge would be appalled at how they’ve treated you and your husband. Hope everything works out.

Call your local NON-EMERGENCY police or sherrifs office.  File a privacy in communications report and have the officer call them directly.  This should scare them off.  SAVE EVERY TEXT MESSAGE for the officer to look at.  If this doesn’t stop them, then you have a paper trail and can file a temporary restraining order, requiring them to go to court and talk to the judge about what is happening.

I tried filing a restraining order against someone over texts and the police didn’t find that to be viable. They said I needed a physical incident. But those were military police when I lived on a military base.

I had T Mobile then and they changed my number for free when I said it was because someone was bothering me.

@welikebikes:  I guess it depends what the texts say, if it’s really bad like threats and truly bullying, then I would imagine this is police worthy.

@welikebikes:  That’s crap.  A text message is just as threatening as physical violence, most state and local laws clearly explain this.  I’m sorry you were told otherwise…if it was on base, I can understand that but since you can’t be certain where those texts were made (or received) those rules should not apply to their laws.
