i’m not filipino, but no,  i dont.  i’m not really that superstitious, but i follow the traditions/superstitions if my family says things need to be done a certain way.  I’m acutally waiting for my parent/grandparents to determine what are bad dates i cannot get married based on the lunar calendar before i set my date.

If you think it’s such bad luck, then why not cancel your wedding and have it a different year from your brothers?

Nope.  I really don’t allow superstitions to dictate how I live my life.

Woah I had never heard this before!  I guess b/c no one else is getting married this year (I won’t even speak about the other part.)  Well FI’s cousin had a wedding celbration but they actually got married last year so I dunno if that counts?  But I don’t think I believe in it.
