I have my final fitting tomorrow, and I am kind of freaking out. I have yet to have that “AAHHHH” moment when looking at myself in my dress. I know I like my dress, I know it is the right one out of all the ones I tried on, but I WANT THAT MOMENT!!! Not to mention that my last fitting was supposed to be the last one, but there were final tweaks that had to be made (the bust was taken in a bit too much, and the bride does need to be able to breath).
Tomorrow Mom, Sis, Future Sister-In-Law, and Future Mother-In-Law will all be there. I so want that moment that solidifies that my dress is the most gorgeous dress of all time, and that in 10 days I will be wearing it in fron of my Groom, and he will be left in shock and awe.
Did anyone else have this kind of anxiety?

I totally know how you feel! When I picked up my dress from the store (not altered, just when it first came in) it was still too big and too long, and I did not have the “moment” of OH MY GOD IT’S MY DRESS AND I LOVE IT!!! that I was so expecting. I can’t WAIT for alterations because I feel like, only after my dress fits me will I really have that “moment”. It doesn’t feel like “my” dress until it fits, and it won’t feel quite so exciting until then either.
I hope you get your moment today when you try your dress on again!

My best advice is to arrive at the fitting totally decked-out! Do your hair, make-up, jewelry, whatever other accesory you’re wearing (veil, etc)… don’t leave anything out. You need to see the big picture to get that feeling! If you look like you’re going to gym in a wedding dress, you’ll be disappointed. How great is it that everyone is going?! Have fun!
