Here are couple that have that softness I was talking about.

Alvina Valenta, because it has tiers:

Though when I see you figure, I can’t help imagining elegant draped gows on you, like these:

#2!! IMO, #1 & 3 are kinda “expected”, 2 is classic while also having a little something extra…totally gorgeous! What designer is it, if you don’t mind me asking? I adore it!

So you probably picked the WRONG dress if you are trying so hard to say that you like #1 and saying that you WISH you could love 1but you don’t..so throw all that $ away and find a new one…and when you find a new one, you’ll probably go through the same issue..

@clairebbbear:  I disagree that a sweetheart neckline makes small chested girls look smaller. I feel it looks incredibly flattering on most bust sizes.

@ifheaven:  Honestly, You don’t need huge boobs to wear a sweetheart neckline, as long as it is fitted to your body. I think it looks amazing.

@clairebbbear:  +1 amen to your boob analysis!! 🙂 I think  scooped nckline is perfect for A-DD cups as I am one of them. I looked horrible in sweethearts haha

@artsoul:  I guess we’re not going to agree.

Perhaps I should have worded it better: A sweetheart neckline makes a small-busted girl’s boobs look like the boobs she has: small ones. It may even make them look smaller if it is not fitted properly (and I have seen this even on supposedly altered dresses – the cup just sort of sitting there flatly and not being filled out).

I was assuming most girls with A-cups would rather have larger boobs, or look like they have. In that case, sweetheart isn’t the best option. It may be flattering in an overall sense, in terms of the balance it brings to the dress, but it’s not going to make an A-cup look like a B-cup.

Higher necklines are always going to make small boobs look bigger, in the way lower necklines never can. Anyone larger busted who has tried to wear high-necked tops or dresses will confirm this. There’s a reason “sweater girls” were a thing: go take a top that’s fitted to the bust (like bridal gowns are) and bring the neckline up high, and those boobs just stick out there, even the small ones.

    Anyway, I digress…

@clairebbbear:  That last one is gorgeous! OP…tried on anything like it? I love it.

There’s another dress I think is fabulous too. Somebody has shown it in the Gallery. Be back when I find it.

i think number 2 is absolutely stunning. That asymmetrical fit and flare seam is lovely. I’m sure you’d look wonderful in any of the dresses, but my vote goes to #2!

3for sure! If I had to pick a second choice it would be number 1. I think the little skirt on number 4 looks a bit silly, and number two looks a bit crumpled-paper-tissue from a distance.

(You have a great figure, so I think they all look as nice as possible on you. It’s the dress I’m not a fan of, nothing about you personally!)
