Okay guys. So those of you that “know” me know that I’ve been really blah and indifferent towards my wedding with all of the date and theme/color changes. I sort of stayed away weddingbee for the most part for almost a month. *gasp of horror* HOWEVER. In the past week I have really gotten back into it – even made an appointment to meet with my favorite photographer next week and talked to FI’s step-mom about catering and cakes (she is doing our cake for free!)
I am back on my game – and super happy about it! 9.5 months to go. Lol.
Anyone else in the same boat or been in it? Did it last? Lol.

I missed seeing your cute little avatar around here.
And I’m super glad you’re excited about planning your wedding again- it sure would be a total drag to not want to 🙁

It was – it was awful and I felt like a “bad bride” for hating to even think about my own wedding. It was kind of sad. Lol. But now we’re back into it and I’m ready to do stuff! Lol. 294 days to go! (I think…)

Yep, I’ve been there. We weren’t sure June was a go until February. So we’ve been having to do stuff back to back. April was just not my month. Everything went wrong. I threw up my hands and said “EFF IT, I DON’T CARE!” I took a two week break and felt much better.

@futuremrshc: The break really does help. I’ve changed dates probably 4 times now and we’re FINALLY just leaving it alone. I’ll probably take another break or three betwen now and then but hey – at least there is hope! haha.

Glad you’re back! There have been a few times when I’ve felt like just stepping back and not doing anything because I’m not one of those people who enjoys wedding planning. I had to change our date several times and I couldn’t make the simple decision of choosing a color scheme, how was I going to plan the rest of the wedding?
I decided not to look at anything wedding related for about 3 days and it helped. I picked my color scheme and got some other things done! Woo!
Sometimes we all just need a break so I’m glad that you got yours.

I really did need to just stop thinking of all the little bs and was like “okay. here is our venue. when do we want it?” Lol.

I did get my ring! I believe I made a post about it after it came, let me find it and I’ll edit with the link.
I’m kind of stressed out about the venue still. FH and I went to look at one church last week and the sanctuary was fine but the fellowship hall was tiny and wouldn’t hit even half of our guests. We have one more to look at and I’m pretty sure that’s the one that we’er going with.

Oh venues. That was the majority of the reason behind my ‘weddingbee hiatus’ in the first place. I was getting so frustrated with weighing the cost with the looks and all that. I hope your next one is perfect!

I hope so too, if not, we don’t have anywhere to get married. The pickings are so slim around here and only a few of the churches match our needs. Everything else is so huge it’d swallow our guests. Hopefully it’ll work out and I can go ahead and get it booked. It’ll be the first real wedding thing I’ll have done and I’ve been so excited for it : )

Glad to see you around more!! Sometimes a break is needed… I’ve been backing off on my “weddingbeeing” recently to get some real wedding work done! lol!
