as some of you may know from a previous post (http://boards.weddingbee.com/topic/im-torn-between-2-wedding-bands-help ) it was kind of an ordeal getting my custom wedding band made. The jeweler we used has god-awful communication skills but does some pretty great work. He originally told me it would take 2 weeks TOTAL from first appointment to final ring in my hand. It ended up taking almost 2 MONTHS instead. Today i picked up the finished product. To explain, ill show you an example of the similar rings i showed him (waaay out of our price range) and the final product of the ring i picked up today.
samples of the style i was going for:
and what MY completed ring looks like:
there are teeny, tiny diamonds throughout the band that are hard to see in the pictures. I had them add a millgrain to the band because when i got there today to pick it up it didnt have it (and we had discussed that it would). So what are your thoughts? Do you think it goes well with my e-ring? : )

Very pretty! I think it goes well with your e-ring!

It’s really pretty! I love how dainty and intricate it looks!

I’m not a fan. I think it doesn’t look as nicely executed as the samples. Im not a fan of them together.

its very pretty. i think it looks really nice with your e-ring and its something where you can just wear the band and it will still be stunning. to me its like they are both really intricate but in 2 different ways that mesh well

The flash makes them hard to see.

I think it’s really pretty, and goes well with your engagement ring. however, I do not think it looks much like the two examples provided.

That’s so pretty! Your set looks beautiful together!

It’s a pretty ring and looks good with your engagement ring, but it doesn’t look anything like the samples. Maybe it’s you can’t see the small diamonds with the flash. Does your camera have a macro setting so we can see the details?

Thanks for your input! I know it doesnt look exactly like the samples but thats because i showed him about 7 different rings and told him what i liked about each one. The main issue we had while making it was that all the similar rings i tried on were 5mm or wider (like the ones in the pictures) and i wanted one closer to 3-4mm. Because of the thinness of the band it wasnt possible to put in as many diamonds & leaf shapes without going wider. I knew this and tweaked the design to work with the width of the band i wanted. I love the final ring and although its not as sparkly as i would like, im considering adding a 1-2mm diamond eternity band to it eventualy to add more sparkle (my bday is 2 weeks before the wedding so maybe ill drop some hints! haha). I must say, it also looks way prettier and daintier in person, i’ll try taking some more pics with my DSLR camera rather then my cell phone : )
