@Rivendeler:  good luck, I am very happy for you making this descision.  It must be very difficult for you.  I had a period of time when I would wake up at the same time every night sweating and very upset, talking and mumbling in my sleep (very mild in comparison to what you have suffered). I thought I had a serious medical problem.  I also have some unresolved issues and sometimes wake up Fiance with my freaking out and am then awake for hours.  One thing that helped (only a little) was I was diagnosed with very low vitamin D and apparently when my blood sugar got very low I would wake up in night sweats.  Not saying this is what you have of course and i know mine wasnt totally caused by it but it made it worse. I hope the therapist helps!  Good luck.

Good luck! My brother used to have some form of night terrors, it was really scary. I’d wake up in the night and he would just be standing somewhere in my room “staring” at me. I was only a kid at the time so I may have just imagined it, but he looked evil when he would do that.

@Rivendeler:  Yeah, normally he’d just stand there and stare, but there were a few times when he would start screaming at the top of his lungs, my parents would rush up and he was flail around for a bit and then fall asleep again right where he was on the floor.

I’m thankful I’ve never had any night terror sort of thing happen to me. I hope you get whatever answers you’re looking for.

@Rivendeler:  Congrats on going in and working on some stuff. 🙂

I went in a while back after waking up screaming a few times and it went away.
