I am officially no longer a waiting bee! My FIANCE (had to use that word haha!) proposed on April 12th. We are both so over the moon with excitment. We were at a banquet dinner last night with quite a few close friends and one of the girls who I hadn’t met came up and said, “you’re the fiance right?”…….whew, wasn’t used to hearing that word! I smiled like a nut ball and I’m sure she thought I was a little crazy. Anyways, I have no idea how to resize this picture and it’s absolutely huge, but here is my new beauty! I literally can’t stop staring at my hand!

@braverbeating: Of course 🙂 It’s a 1.5 carat equivalent (7.5mm) forever brilliant moissanite. My finger is a size five. I do have to say, I have ZERO regrets about getting a moissanite…this coming from a girl who was DEAD SET on a diamond. I was convinced I wouldn’t have it any other way. One day, I honestly don’t know what hit me, but definitely realized I could care less what ring he proposed with. It’s the person he is, not the ring, that matters. Cheesy? Absolutely. But after I decided that, my decision was pretty darn easy. I just found out I was accepted to my graduate program (yay!) and choosing a moissanite instead of a diamond means no debt. ANYWAYS…I know some ladies just prefer diamond, but this is the perfect one for me. I really don’t think he could have picked a more beautiful ring.
