Long time lurker, first time poster here! I recently became engaged on NYE and my fiancé proposed with a gorgeous ring that is absolutely, 100% me. It’s from the early 1940’s (I’m wildly in love with all things vintage, right down to the clothes I wear) 18k gold band and two diamonds with a total weight of .30kt.
I have always been a fan of dainty, intricate and vintage rings. I know it’s tiny (I live in a large city where big diamonds are the norm, and have received plenty of comments on how “tiny” it is) but I am just so overwhelmingly happy with how well this ring fits my personality. I’m radiating with love!
i hope you all are having a wonderful week!

WOW, congrats! That’s a gorgeous ring! I’m in the same boat – long time lurker that just got engaged this weekend. I also love vintage and received a mid-century solitaire with a transitional cut diamond. I’m flying out to tell my family this weekend so I haven’t told anyone IRL yet. But I can’t stop smiling.

Congratulations! It’s beautiful! I love vintage jewelry and fashion. 90% of my wardrobe is 1940’s inspired. Your fiancé obviously put so much time and love in choosing the perfect ring for you.
As for people saying it’s tiny they are just rude AF!
