@SleepyBee:  I am in LOVE with your new dress, like seriously you are about to give me dress regret just looking at yours, lol.  Ditch the old one, you are right, it looks like a prom dress.  The new one is exquisite.  And if you choose the old one instead, let me know! lol

Looks great on you. Makes more of a statement than the first dress.

The new dress is in MY opinion perfect and totally bridal!!  The original dress is just lackluster compared to the new one.   I would wear your new beauty for the whole day…just revel in being the gorgeous bride!!

Can you return the old dress for store credit?  Maybe get the veil and accessories there, so you don’t “loose” money?

@SleepyBee:  OMG that is hilarious!  Well all I can say to that is obviously you and I have impeccable taste!  lol  Yeah I LOVE my dress, I had momentary regret just because of its popularity but I am super happy with my decision, but I have to say, if I had tried on yours I would definitely be in a sticky situation, I wouldnt know which one to pick.  Your dress is seriously beautiful, I want you to get married then sell it to me so that I can wear it just for the heck of it.  lol!

@Miss Leopard:  I was totally the same when dress shopping – entirely unemotional. And, like you, I am usually a very emotional person and clothes shopping is one of my favourite things. Even with my dream dress (the second dress I bought) I wasn’t exactly overwhelmed when I tried it on for the first time. It was more a case of being really impressed and appreciative of the beauty and artisanship that had gone into the dress rather than an emotional reaction of seeing myself in it.

@SleepyBee:  Am in love with your new dress. That’s it. I would not change into the other dress for the world.

@SleepyBee:  Both dresses look great on you, but I love the second one you bought.

@peonyinparis:  I agree with being impressed by the workmanship. I was really underwhelmed by alot of mid-range dresses. I felt like I either wanted a rock-bottom bargain (like… less than $500) or I wanted couture. Nothing in the $1-3K range spoke to me. It was all too satiny and sparkly and prom-like. I ended up with something expensive, although I saved a bunch by buying the sample and it was the only dress I felt like stood out among the pack.
