I have had the HARDEST time finding the right reception dress. I originally had 2 gowns made from JBS. (one ballgown, one pink mermaid) — The ballgown was AMAZING and perfect for my ceremony. The pink mermaid didnt fit me correctly and just wasnt flattering for my figure. I then purchased another dress from a new seller on Etsy I discovered. I shared my story about how beautiful the dress was on here and lots of photos. After some pondering, I put the dress on a few more times and realized the color just didnt suite my skintone like I had hoped. I was back to square one again. I was so happy with the work Carabridal on Etsy did for me, I contacted her again in hopes of having a similar style made but in a different color & less of a train so i could dance at the reception easily. I have always gravitated toward bustier/corset style tops and lace. Inbal Dror had a lot of dresses I loved. So I decided to have her make the dress in pink like I had originally had done by JBS & I just got the dress today. Carabridal is seriously AMAZING. I also dropped my measurements a bit because Ive lost some weight and my JBS ballgown is quite a bit big on me. I feel so relieved that my search is over and now I can focus on accessorizing my two dresses. So without further a do, here is MY RECEPTION DRESS FOR SURE!!! YAY!!!! What do you think bees?

@Barbiestylez: gorgeous! The pink is perfect on you and I loveee the overall style and design. As I’ve said to you before, mine and yours’ styles are extremely similiar so needless to say I’m in love. I’ve always been into the idea of incorporating pink or blush into my gown one day because I have such fair, porcelain skin and I think it would be complimentary.
You look like a total bombshell!

It’s gorgeous, but almost looks uncomfortable. Can you sit in it? The way it is gathering in the belly makes me think it is a little too small.

@Barbiestylez: Super super pretty!! It fits you liked a glove, but it doesn’t look like there is much room for dancing, sitting, eating, etc. Make sure you try all of those things before the big day! Congrats on your BEAUTIFUL dress!!!

I was thinking the same thing. I LOVE the dress but from the side it looks…weird.

It’s super pretty but looks like it could rip with the wrong movement!

@Barbiestylez: OMG even better! Can I ask how much it cost? That is the same dress but in a different colour?

thank you!! I have been on the lookout for so long, its nice to finally find the dress!
Its not uncomfortable at all. The bust area was super tight, but like I said i dropped my measurements & I also had a padded strapless bra on so without the bra its roomier. (I like pushup though) I could dance in it easily lol i did a little dancing around my house! I didnt try to sit in it yet. I probably should do that LOL.
I def will. I danced, bent down, and ran through the house with it easily. i havent tried to sit yet, but I def need to. This one literally fits me like a glove, literally .

TBH, the dress came literally right after I ate a huge bowl of Chipotle & a bag of chips. Whoops. I was like oh great now I gotta try this on, so yea I am def bloated right now LOL. Like I said, I dropped my measurements and this dress literally fits me SNUG. Im continueing my weight loss journey as well and plan to lose 10 lbs by June so Im def not worried.
This is another inbal dror dress. It was 578$ 🙂

It’s gorgeous but waaaay too much boobs for my taste at a wedding! I would consider not wearing the padded bra, personally.

@Barbiestylez: It’s super pretty! What happened to the first one that Carabridal made for you? That one was amazing! I guess the train wasn’t practical for dancing but I hate to think of that dress going to waste because it was incredible.

OMG!!!!!!!!!! I have been following all of your threads and I literally got chills looking at this. This is so so gorgeous on you. I love the color, it suits your skin tone better than the peachy CaraBridal one in my opinion!! She does such good work!

Yea I wont be able to with the dress because it fits so tight at the bust. I will still do a strapless most likely, but with no padding at all.
Im selling it:) Its too gorgeous to not have. That dress is beautiful but honestly it was a bit big on me, I had it pulled tight for photos and it was saggy on my hip/bum area. The train wasnt practical for dancing so this one is much better and its so light.

Can you post a pic of the back of the dress?
