I think it looks amazing on you! It’ll look even more amazing once you find the perfect bra. Or maybe just get cups sewn in.
I’m kind of confused by all the comments about the lines in your hips. Almost every dress I’ve ever seen in this silhouette has those lines, its just part of having that style of dress. But I’ve never seen so many people in this group complain about them though. In fact I’ve seen multiple threads were girls were complaining about having them on their dress and everyone chimed in that the dress looks good and the lines are normal.

You look amazing, and CaraBridal did an amazing job!
Please help me understand – this is similat, but yet different than the Inbal Dror ceremony replica you had them make for you that you talk about in this thread?

thanks lady! Im hoping to lose 10 more lbs or just drop inches and gain muscle! We are on week two of the gym 3-4x a week!
I totally agree. the Padded bra makes it look like its way too small on top. I am now on the hunt for the perfect bra:)
Yea I have no clue why. Ive seen both sides. Ive seen girls upset about the creasing and bees saying its just how the dresses are, and Ive seen people saying that means its too small. I had creases in every dress I tried pretty much. I tried on dresses I couldnt even zip up and I tried on dresses they had to clip behind me because it was huge, and they all creased around my belly/hip area. I think its just the nature of the beast. And I def need to find the right bra to keep the girls in place, but not make them so out there.

No problem!!! So the first dress was this dress from inbal dror in an ivory/champagne color:
& this dress is this inbal dror in a blush pink with no train and a few modifications:
They are very similar. The first is just a creamish/champagne color with a low back & straps. The second is strapless with a long V cut train. Because this is a reception dress, I opted for no train:) I hope that helps explain!

The pink is very pretty and the style gives an old world look.
please take this comment with the kindness intended. The dress might be the measurements sent but does not fit your body properly. The dress is too short from waist to under bust which can be fixed by bras, and also not cut correctly in hips and thighs, the evidence of that is in the photos that show the side seam of the skirt being pulled to the back, which is, unfortunately a cause of the crease lines. They don’t have it balanced correctly.
I am a dressmaker in athletic wear, and some of my athlete clients come to me for formal wear. They might be tiny people, but the cutting for a shapely body is much different. I am reminded of the great dress that sofiekitty had that was form fitting in the booty but fit perfectly with a lot of dressmaker involvement. Hopefully you can find a good local seamstress to fix the creases to be a custom fit.

Thank you! You look gorgeous in both! So are these two your final ones?
I am working on designing my own from a few dresses.
I am small chested and worried about going strapless, even though I would go mermaid style. Do you feel you might have to pull up the dress once in a while? I’ve never tried a wedding dress on, but I hear they are heavy…

I totally understand. they can only do so much with my measurements without ever trying it on my body. Im confident a seamstress can do a few things to make it look perfect!:)
No problem! All the gowns I tried on in bridal shops were stiff and heavy, which is why I was drawn to getting a dress custom made. Depending on what dress styles you like, the fabric can be thinner or thicker. This dress material is thin and NOT heavy at all. it feels comparable to a prom dress tbh. I like that! Lightweight & comfortable. I am wearing a ballgown I had made for my ceremomy dress and this pink dress for my reception. The seller who made this dress does custom orders and is affordable. Just search ‘carabridal’ and you can see a few other bees are having dresses made from her as well!! This dress doesnt fall down and I dont have to pull it up because its so form fitting in my waist, it stays put!:)
