I found my dress!!!! After months of searching and not finding the one, I tried on the Maggie Sottero Primrose and fell in love. I knew it was the perfect dress for my summer garden wedding. I’m looking for ideas on how to accessorize it. Still undecided about a veil. Would it be too much with such a busy bottom?
Would you also mind voting on BELT or NO BELT??

I’d say no belt. It makes you look taller. Beautiful dress, by the way. I’ll probably be looking for something close to that as well. π

No belt, you DO look taller and more statuesque! Beautiful!

This is my sister’s dress!! I personally think no belt with this dress. The skirt already creates a natural line across your body, adding a belt will only break your body up more. No belt creates a long and lean body line.
Congrats- its a truly breathtaking dress in real life!

This is my dress too! I love it so much. I voted for belt but that could be because I’m getting a belt. I felt like the dress was too simple without one (yes, even with the billowy skirt!) and the belt really helps to finish the dress for me.

@MissMe2: This is my dress too! I decided not to do a veil but can’t decide about a belt either. Bling and perl sashes are gorgeous on this dress but the dress is gorgeous without it as well. Not wearing a belt gives you the opportunity to play up your jewelry.

@MissMe2: No belt for sure. The dress is gorgeous and gives your body a very elegant look. The belt, while very pretty, isn’t necessary! Good luck!

So funny- not only are we dress twins, I knew immediately from your pics that we got them from the same salon in Dallas!
I think the dress looks really beautiful without the belt on you!

@MissMe2: I tried on the primrose and felt that the belt looked better, You look great either way but can you post a pic without your arms blocking your body ( if you have one)?
You can’t go wrong, it is very flattering on you!~

MissMe2: Did you decide on whether to go with a belt or not? I just decided on the primrose too and i’m SO excited, you look gorgeous in it!
I went for no belt as I didn’t want anything breaking up the middle of the dress, and also a cathedral length veil (and i’ve had them put buttons down the back instead of the corset).
Obviously i’m biased so I voted no belt but you’ll look fab either way! π
