I got my dress La sposa Sidra last week from a sample sell, and I absolutely love it. I tried like 15 different dress in different shops, and this one is my fav. I was really concerned about it was sample, but it looked really good, and the sales person told me only 3 girls tried before (which I doubted at then). Anyway after a few weeks I went back and bought that one for over $1800 after 30% discount. I found some small problems here and there, but no big deal just some threads.
I did point out to the sales girl(new one), and she said ” it is a sample, you can not expect it as a new, it is an old dress” ….. I was pretty annoyed by her and I found there are lipstick marks on the dress and looks pretty dirty, also the train has different color than the dress. She said it was designed like that, the color for the train. I wanted dry cleaning included, but they refused at first beginning, and I pointed out the lipstick mark and said I would buy if they include dry cleaning, they agreed in the end. I went to pick it up last week, and the dress looks stunning, looks really clean and also the train’s color is much whiter than before. I tried it on ( they were not quite happy when I asked to try it), and it looks really good, it was not ironed but I am fine with it. I was really happy on the way home. But when I got home, I found there are TWO HOLES on the dress…… one is on the train in the right side of dress and another one is on first layer in the back on the train, they are like 3cm big. Also some threads on the train broke as well. I was so upset about it, and was considering to contact them, but in the end, I decided not to ,feel like what is the point, they were not really have good attitude when I was there, also they said it was sample, suppose to have problems. But I still paid over $1800 on it…… =( Does anybody else who bought sample experienced same thing?
I have my picture on , I still in love with the dress, just these two holes really bothers me, and I did not dare to check more to see if there are more holes =(. Also I have another question, in order not to do the alteration, I need to wear shoes which is 5cm(2inch) high in the front, and most of shoes I checked that have the front part like that is like 15cm(5.9 inch) for the heels. Does people normally wear that high? Shall I just do the alteration instead? Also can anybody give me some suggestions how to bustle the dress?
