I think…it’s hard to know how the dress looks on the hanger. Is this the photo you sent them? On the hanger the dress just seems to be too much, but I imagine it looks fabulous on.  Any photos of you?

That is a gorgeous dress!  I feel the same way about white vs. ivory though….How does it look on you compared to the Lazaro?

I love it! I also think that ivory will make the details look much better, I feel like white dresses are a bit too harsh and if there is lace details and such, it looks way better in ivory.

Would love to see a pic of you in the dress tho πŸ™‚

That literally made me gasp, I LOVE IT.  Normally I think something like that is way over the top, but it is so well done and it all comes together so beautifully.  I can’t wait to see a pic of you in it.

@shanibee: I was asking you about this dress on the thread about married women still looking at wedding dresses. I’d written that I’ll probably be green with envy of your dress choice…And I am. Now I officially hate you :)) Tongue out

This is now one of my few favorite dresses on the market. Having worn a Lazaro similar to the LZ3804, I’d choose this any day if it were me. But then I’m all about ballgowns over mermaids. I’m with you on the white vs ivory thing, but the pic looks white enough to me.The Lazaro ivory for example is almost yellowish and some of the embroidery looks gray in pictures. This one’s not like that at all.

Wow! That is a statement dress. Agree that it’s gonna probably be love or hate. I love it. I couldn’t put it off, I don’t think, but objectively, I think it’s amazing. I would love to see pics on you, though. I really do think the person wearing it can make or break a dress. I think this kind of dress could easily overwhelm someone, like the dress is wearing you instead of the other way around. So… I tentatively think you should go for it! πŸ™‚

@shanibee: yay! Can’t wait to see pics!!! πŸ˜€ I don’t mean to sound mean, but grandma probably doesn’t like it because she pictures you in a more traditional wedding gown. I think you’d have to appreciate modern wedding gown and what’s “in” fashion to understand the appeal of your gown. But it is pretty! Really, really pretty!
