This past week, my man finally popped the question we had been discussing for months! The wait nearly killed me but it was so worth it and I love that I can finally, truly, undoubtedly say I will be married to him soon!
We had been discussing rings for a few months. Trying things on, online shopping, and etsy surfing have been so exhausting! We finally decided on a .75 carat center double halo ring from moissanite&co. However, when the time to order came around, we became doubtful about ordering a ring online without personally seeing it or trying it on. So, he told me we should take it easy on the ring shopping and he would search around for something on his own, and if the double halo was meant to be on my finger, he would find something like it. Two weeks later, I got a surprise!
I originally did not care for cluster rings. Some of the few I had seen in person were not my style. The older generation of women in my family have a habit of getting all these giant cluster rings for anniversaries and wearing a ring on nearly each finger. I wanted to be more simple and not have all that going on with my hands, lol. The cluster rings I had seen were just too huge and too much for me! However, one day while we were in the mall, we stopped by a jewelry counter for just a second and I fell in love with this cluster.
It is 1 carat total weight set in white gold. I love it because the first rings we looked at for our engagement were those flower halo rings. The side profile of this ring reminds me of a flower! I also love how it kind of reminds me of the older women in my family with the cluster rings and I am sort of following the family tradition but my ring is still like the double halo I originally wanted.
Show me all your cluster rings, I want to see them here!
Also, here is mine!
