Fiance and I chose and ordered my engagement ring from the States because the luxury tax here in Greece is out of control! He left a deposit and the ring was being placed in a new (more plain) setting.
On our 1st year anniversary we are going to probably set it in a cushion cut halo (like jhollar’s gorgeous ring!!) but for now I wanted to have it in the plain setting so I can have time to decide.

Sorry for the shameless “look at my ring” post, but I just couldn’t help myself… ๐
My grandma is coming to Greece in 3 weeks, and she will bring it with her!! Can’t wait.

No idea :s
I almost walked into a post the other morning on my way to work because I was too busy admiring how the sun was glinting off my ring

I hope that this isn’t a rude question but, out of curiousity, why are you wearing the ring on your middle finger? Is this Greek tradition?

@jackndiane: It’s not a rude question at all. ๐ This is not my finger, it is my mom’s. My fingers are bigger than hers, so she is wearing it on her middle finger. I will wear mine on the traditional ring finger.
My grandma is bringing the ring to me from the States when she visits in a few weeks.
