It is a beautiful dress and looks fabulous on you.

If you want to add some bling, you could have a seamstress add a row of crystals on both sides of the corset.

You could add a bow at the bottom

or get very brave and change the color of the ribbon-maybe pale blue?

Oooh I really like @julies1949 ‘s suggestion of adding a bow at the back! I think it’ll help give you a bit more ‘drama’ back there!

You look stunning in the dress though. ๐Ÿ™‚

I agree w/ the other Bees regarding the Panel as well as changing the ribbon.

yay dress twin, you look gorgeous! I felt like mine was a bit boring too, so I added a sash ๐Ÿ™‚

What is wrong with the back? It looks beautiful on you!

I’m also not a fan of the lace-up back, but I know it makes the front look so much more fitted and gorgeous.  Wish mine had one just for that reason, small price to pay!  I think a sash would look great with it.  Looks great on you as-is though!

I agree that the modesty panel could go all the way up to the top, and maybe try tying the laces in a pretty bow and leaving it out?  I think maybe what’s bothering you is that the laces don’t go all the way to the bottom, and you can see the plain modesty panel there.

  • thinner ribbon
  • panel
  • see if you can sew the back of the dress up higher- the gap between the closure and the bottom of the corset is a bit too much

Your gorgeous as is already and come wedding day I think you will be even more stunning. If you consider the suggestions above (modesty panel and thinner ribbon) it will work wonders.

I think yes, bringing up the ‘privacy panel’ higher.

dipping the back is always best.

and I would suggest they add another set of loops at the boom to lace in that very bottom v.

Also if they can tapper the bottom of the privacy panel narrower so its not too thick over you bum. you have such a stunning figure you don’t want anything to add thickness that isn’t there.

@kingytobe: It’s very serene. What dress is it, I recognise it?

I can’t add anything more to what the bees have already suggested for alterations, but you really do look beautiful in it!!! Great choice ๐Ÿ™‚
