For the corset – use the thinner ribbon if you came with one – if not ask the seamstress EVERY maggie comes with two thick and thin! And extend the privacy panal all the way up!
Other than that your dress looks GORGEOUS!

I think it’s very pretty, but agree about the back. It almost looks unfinished, or like they couldn’t tighten it enough. I hope your alterations can make it your dream again!

I love the dress! I’m with PP’s on bring the back up a little more, just so its not cutting into the skin near your shoulders. That’s all it needs 🙂

UPDATE: I went to get it altered today…
#1, the second she did it up correctly (nice and tight throughout) it looked 10x better. Seriously, by just having it on properly- it did wonders. My Maid/Matron of Honor was there, so she learned how to do it.
#2 I got the following alterations which when she pinned it, made it look 30x better: the skirt taken in about 1.5 inches on each side, neckline changed to sweetheart (about 3/4 inch dip), back of the dress taken down about an inch or so, another loop at the bottom so i can tighten it more over my tiny butt, and when i get shoes, i’ll go back for hemming and bustling!
I feel so much better, thank you everyone for the suggestions and support- it IS the dress, it just needed some love
