Long-time lurker, first-time poster!
I’ve been looking at this site for months, oogling/loving everyone’s rings and stories, so I thought I would finally post 🙂
My fiance proposed two weeks ago, a few days before we left for a vacation in Jamaica. He originally was going to propose during the trip, but realized I had caught on to his plan. So Sunday morning, he asked if I wanted to go on a walk with our little nugget of a dog. We stopped in front of my favorite house on the block, and he popped the question, while I freaked out in my *jogging pants and loafers* (such an attractive combination!). Several early morning speedwalkers got quite the show.
The ring is a 2.8 carat cushion cut peach sapphire (purchased loose from Natural Sapphire Company) with two .3 carat cushion cut diamonds. Fiance ordered the stone online and had it set locally. I adore it!!
My ring size is 7.25; please excuse the big knuckles. 🙂
