Dress twin!! What are you doing for a veil? First I thought elbow drop, now mantilla… cathedral?? What a conundrum! I’m worried about alterations (dress comes in in 2 months), they’re going to have to hem a lot and take it in (of course they ordered way bigger in the bust!!)

@love108: they didn’t do a hem to hollow measurement? When i ordered mt dakota it came in ready to try on without the need to hem the dress to i would loose the pretty details on the bottom.

Oh yay! It is an AMAZING dress!!
Awesome! I honestly have no idea what kind of veil I’m going to get yet 🙁 I just really need to spend time looking at different options. I’m a little worried about alterations too but I am just going to trust the bridal salon to do a good job. I couldn’t decide whether to order a size 6 or size 8. My bust and waist are a size 2/4 but my hips are a size 6/8 according to Enzoani’s size chart! So even though it is going to be huge in the bust, waist, and maybe a little bit in the hips, I went with a size 8 to be safe. And like @alaskin17
said, they did a hollow to hem measurement (charged $250 for that) so that they won’t have to alter the length. The dress company is also making my dress into a sweetheart neckline which also cost an additional $250. I’m a little nervous about how the sweetheart will look too, maybe I shouldn’t have messed with it!!! Or had the alteration person do it.
Thank y’all so much for all your sweet comments!

@ltj14: I had my sweetheart done after I recieved my dress. I have seen a Dakota bride on here that ordered hers as a sweetheart….I think she ordered the Diana neckline on her Dakota to be exact. It looked stunning. I think this dress is 10x’s better as a sweetheart 🙂 The best part is that you don’t even need to wear a bra! 🙂 haha

@ltj14: I think a chapel veil would look lovely! One that would stop where your dress does. Good luck 🙂

@MrsBaldEagle: Thank you!
That’s good to know! On my order they did reference a sweetheart neckline of another Enzoani dress (can’t remember the name of it right now) that I liked. It is slightly more subtle than Diana. I think it’ll come out great though 🙂
Thanks, I think so too! I am thinking elbow length, fingertip length, ballet length, OR chape lengthl!! I don’t know yet!
