@Kabira1208:  First off, beautiful dress! Absolutely stunning! Secondly, it might be a good idea to get a size up because it is just a safer bet I think. I got my dress yesterday too (yay!) and even though I was fitting perfectly in one size, they recommended ordering a size up because it would be easiest to make alterations. I hope this helps!! 🙂 You look stunning!

@Kabira1208: Beautiful dress, you look stunning! I had the same thing, in the shop size 12 fitted but they ordered size 14, they said it was because the sample would’ve stretched and as the PP said it’s easier to do alterations and I guess it’s best to be safe than sorry.

You look great in it!! I would say the 14 is fine becasue taking it in is so much easier than letting it out if you need…

I had a similar problem with my waist and ordered the bigger size to be safe. The dress has arrived and it is huge. The salon said I probably would have been ok with the smaller size. I’m going to have to spend a lot on alterations but I’ll get over it and don’t need to panic if I put on a bit of weight before my first fitting!

I would keep the size 14.  Those samples are tried on by many brides and lace does giv over time.  You can alway take it in but much worse if it is too small.

I think going a size up is better. Sample dresses have, of course, been tried on which can strecth them out a little. A brand new size 12 might be a littletight and it’s easier to bring in the dress than take it out.

It’s a beautiful dress!
