I felt like I had to share!
I only received 1 placesetting of my china as a gift. Ultimately I would like 12 sets, but I decided for now, to buy 5 more sets. I ordered in when there was a store-wide sale, which was great, because my china never goes on sale. After not getting a phonecall to say it arrived for some time, I went in and checked, they said it was ordered but it takes a long time to be shipped. I was fine with waiting.
Then I got a phonecall saying there was a problem. I tried calling back, but couldn’t get anyone. Finally, Darling Husband got a phonecall and was told they undercharged us so we would have to pay more when it arrived.
It finally came it, and while we had to pay more we were given an additional discount as it was their fault for not charing use correctly in the first place.
When we got home almost every single set had tiny chips or scratches on the pattern! They had put a rush order in, so it was all floor displays, not directly from the company. I was pretty upset and was just ready to return ALL of it. I was thinking about picking something at a different store that was a little more affordable. I was pretty shocked though, we got a call back saying that we could keep the 5 slightly damaged sets in case of breakage and they would order us 5 brand new sets, no charge! So I managed to get my never goes on sale china at more than 50% off (although some are slightly flawed). I had no idea good customer service still existed!
