YAY!  That’s great!  I hope they are checking vitamin D and B12 levels for you in those tests.  Being low or deficient in either of those can also throw off your cycles.  That’s fantastic that you won’t have to wait for a referral and that they are going to start doing some of the basic testing!

@Soon2BeeMrsG:  I am so glad you found a doctor who is open minded and willing to help. I hope all of your tests including your Darling Husband give you some answers! GL

I’m so glad to hear that you finally had a positive experience. I know how frustrating it can be when doctors aren’t listening. After all, it’s YOUR health! You deserve to have someone take it seriously!

Can’t wait for an update!

I’m glad to see that your doctor took your concerns seriously and that you got some bloodwork done so that you are making some progress! I also have thyroid problems (Hyper as opposed to hypo) and like you, my period went away for six months. It was crazy and scary. I really hope that your doctor can help get back your cycle!

@Soon2BeeMrsG:  Glad to hear there’s progress. Are you on Metformin? That’s what they put me on for PCOS and I’m regular as a Timex.

@Soon2BeeMrsG:  Wonderful! Dr.’s can be so cold and frustrating sometimes, we need more than can connect emotionally

I knowfeel know how you feel, my first doctor waTGIF the “youre young it’ll sort itself out” and I felt so confused and alone. Yo went to another doctor whessential me for a full blood analysis and hormone profile and I’m finally getting some answers! Feels good 🙂 good luck! Xx
