So, the Darling Husband finally gave in and realize how awesome a bundle of joy would be and we decided to start ttc this month!
Well, because I’m a total freak, I started googling things…then got really discouraged by all results. I’m fairly certain I’ll be o’ing soon (CM and timing seem about right), but it still makes me all WJEJWKRNEK.
I guess all I want are positive stories. How soon after ttc did you or someone you know get a BFP?
Oh and additional information, the first night that we tried, I woke up a few hours later with light cramps. Next day, I felt a little off with a headache and a slight backache, and that night I had the light cramps again. (CD 12–normal cycle is 31 days) and this morning I woke up severely nauseated. Does this happen to other women?!

I got pregnant our second month trying and we weren’t trying very hard at all!
As for your symptoms, I’d guess they’re unrelated.

I chart since my cycles are wonky. Once you ovulate it takes 6-10 days for the embryo to implant in your uterus. Most girls won’t get symptoms til then and if you test like 10DPO or later you might see a + though some girls don’t see + til 15 days past ovulation. Check the thread called “TTC what to Expect” on the top of the TTC boards! Good luck!!!

We started TTC’ing this month you could say..not trying that hard though, just BD’ing regularly…AF is due anytime between now and 5 days from now (she’s kinda wonky) but my advice would be not to overthink every symptom, not to be dissapointed if it doesn’t happen…with any luck we will both be preggers this month but there are plenty more opportunities to try!

sounds like you’re symptom spotting like me!! We’re on our first cycle too…I’ll be testing in a couple of days. I am so excited and totally understand how you feel, but i think we need to stay relaxed….it could happen straight away or it could take a long time….goodluck!

FX for a BFP 🙂
You may get more replies on how long it took to get pregnant if you post this on the pregnancy boards.
Try not to symptom spot, or use google – it’ll only make you more crazy
