- Wedding: September 2013 - The Skinner Barn
It’s 5am. On a Thursday. I just finished half of a 40 page IEP and transitional planning paper that’s due on Monday. Only 20 more pages to go. Once I get like 4 hours of sleep lol.
Has finals been making anyone else nuts? Fiance and I are long distance (Army) and he called me to say goodnight and give me a short break from working at like 2am. I was so happy to hear his voice and after like 20 minutes he had to get to sleep. For some reason, I started weeping when he said goodbye. This is very unlike me lol. He was like “hun…are you crying?” All I could say was “Yes! And I don’t know why!”

pshh who sleeps anymore? If it makes you feel better, I’m reading your post right now at 2:15am my time because I’m working on my final project/unit plan that is currently 23 (8 lesson plans + materials + other information) pages long. I also had a small finals emotional breakdown the other day for no apparent reason, so you’re not alone!

@FutureMrsWeston: I know exactly how you feel! My Fiance is Army as well, and I am sure I wont make it to the weekend! Everytime I talk to him it seems I am working on a paper, or taking a final. I need a break!!! I havent had a school related breakdown this week, but I said goodbye to Fiance for 9 months on Sunday, so I think this week just started bad!

lol i can relate…finals make me nuts!
i’m always soo emotional and stressed. and i always lose or gain the same 10-15lbs depending on my stress level.
i have 5 exams, each worth 45%. it’s so stressful knowing that if i screw up the final, i could either fail or butcher my GPA

All my finals are 100% of my grade- eek!! I have one down and three to go… And those finals will be on Saturday, monday, and Tuesday!! It’s crunch time!! Ahhhh

I have finals in 2 weeks (they were pushed ahead due to hurricane sandy). I am taking organic chem, anatomy II, nutrition and the 1st nursing course. It is a ridiculous amount of work, but luckily it will all be over soon. Thankfully my SO tutors me with chemistry otherwise I’d be lost.

This is the first semester where I don’t have finals in all my classes and the finals I do have aren’t at least a third of my grade. I’m going to have to study pretty hard for my second final, but the one I have today is going to be really easy. At least point I’m so over everything I just want to pass the class. I don’t care about my grades at all. Oops.

I have 5 exams in six days. My one ‘day off’ is today. All I’ve done so far is catch up on sleep! The exams have been really difficult.

Finals are the worst! I know I’ve been having my own little mental freak outs. Just hang in there, they will eventually be over and you can breathe again. Having an LDR somehow does make it harder. Glad to know that its not just me having freak outs.
I have my finals this week and next, this is my last week at my job, and I’m moving because I’m transfering to a different university. It’s like the Little Engine That Could or whatever. “I think I can, I think I can…” going up the big hill.

@FutureMrsWeston: me! haha I have today to finish a research paper (done now actually) take a final in my game theroy class and in my data management class. eeee
Then I get to get to the fun of working on my research for the conference I am presenting at in January and to study for tutoring in Econometrics. All while my SO is vacationing in Europe. sigh. All to be called Dr. Subtlebee! Good luck with your stuff lady!
